We loved the spacious Junior Suite with a sea view, and the breakfast was great! The cozy lounge area was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring, and we also enjoyed the well-stocked bar for some evening drinks. The only hiccup was that the shower had some awkward water pressure at times, but it didn't ruin our stay. 😊

The room was fantastic, spacious with a view of the sea that was nice! I loved the double rain shower in the bathroom. It was pure bliss after a long day.
It was pretty pricey though.

Historic charm with a catch
The location is perfect, right by the seafront. I loved the cozy bar area, and the staff were super friendly. My only gripe? The heating was iffy in my room, a bit chilly. Definitely worth checking out for its charm, though!

The Kirkwall offered a comfortable stay with a well-appointed room that was recently refurbished. Facilities like the toilet and shower were modern and functional, particularly the shower's effectiveness. The restaurant provided a fantastic selection of high-quality meals and had efficient, cheerful staff who enhanced the dining experience.
The noise from the street was disruptive at times.

Scenic harbor views, historical setting, spacious rooms
Water pressure in showers could definitely use improvement!!! The hotel is showing signs of general disrepair and needs a solid refresh to match its beautiful surroundings!!! Noise from surrounding bars is quite disruptive at night!!!

The location impressed me with fine harbor views and easy walking access to the town center. Meals were a highlight. Breakfast options were good, and dinner in the restaurant was pretty good. I enjoyed the attentive service from the staff, who were friendly and eager to help. The room felt a little cramped for the price, especially during the busy tourist season. Parking could be a hassle, as there are limited free spots on the street.

Ideal spot for business travelers
The staff were supportive I mean they went out of their way to help me with a taxi when I missed my flight and the bar staff were friendly too it felt genuine, you know. Plus the place is packed with history like those old photos on the walls it's like a glimpse into another time.
It was a bit pricey but still worth it for the experience.
